Med spas / Local SEO & Google Maps

A patient searching nearby gets a map, not a list.

Three results. Be one of them.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile work for med spas and dental clinics. Outside those three listings your ad budget buys attention that goes to somebody else. We rebuild the profile, the reviews and the pages behind them until you are in the box.

What the work actually is

Six things, done every month

Local ranking is not one big fix. It is the same six pieces, maintained — which is exactly why clinics lose ground to whoever is more consistent rather than to whoever is smarter.

Profile rebuilt to convert

Correct primary and secondary categories, every treatment as a service item, products, hours, attributes, booking link, and photos that look like your actual clinic.

Review engine

The ask built into your patient flow at the moment of highest satisfaction, plus response templates so every review gets a reply within a day.

Treatment pages

One page per money treatment, written the way patients search, with the schema Google needs to tie it back to your profile.

Technical foundation

Speed, mobile, structured data, name-address-phone consistency across directories, and the citations that still move local rankings.

Posts and updates

Regular profile posts keep the listing active — one of the cheapest signals, and the one almost every clinic ignores.

Monthly reporting

Map positions for your terms, calls and direction requests from the profile, and where those turned into appointments.

Honest timeline

Local SEO is slow, and anyone who says otherwise is guessing

This is the schedule we will hold ourselves to in writing, before you sign anything. Nothing on it is a best case.

  1. Weeks 1–2

Profile rebuilt, categories and services corrected, review flow switched on, technical fixes shipped.

  2. Weeks 4–8

First movement on long-tail and branded terms. Profile calls and direction requests climb before rankings do.

  3. Months 3–6

Competitive treatment terms. Where consistent clinics overtake the ones who did a one-off cleanup.

Ranges reflect a single-location clinic in a normal metro. Dense urban markets take longer — if we think yours will, you hear it before you sign rather than after.

When to spend the money elsewhere

  1. Your phone is not answered

Ranking harder pours more calls into the same voicemail. If the audit finds you are missing calls, we will say fix that first — even though this page is what you clicked on.

    What answers the calls
  2. You sit outside the search radius

Proximity is a ranking factor and nobody can move it. A clinic six miles out will not appear for a “near me” search made downtown, whatever anybody charges you. What we can move is everything inside your radius.

  3. Nobody at the desk will ask for a review

Recency is the strongest local lever there is, and the one we cannot pull on our own. We build the ask into the flow and write the templates. A human still has to press send.

  4. You need patients this month

Then this is the wrong line item. Local SEO compounds; it does not rescue a quarter. We do not buy links to make it look faster, because that debt comes due on your domain, not ours.

  5. You run more than one location

Each location needs its own profile, page and review stream, and they must not cannibalise each other. That is scoped separately — the price on this page is one location.

Questions about local SEO

Straight answers

How long before we move in the map pack?

Profile and technical work show up in four to eight weeks; competitive treatment terms take three to six months. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either guessing or planning to buy links that will cost you later.

We already have a Google profile. Is that not enough?

Having one and having one that ranks are different things. Most clinic profiles we audit have the wrong primary category, no service items for treatments, thin photos, and reviews that stopped a year ago. Each of those is both a ranking factor and a conversion factor.

Do reviews really matter that much?

For the map pack, enormously — and recency matters more than raw count. A clinic with 60 reviews and eight this quarter usually outranks one with 300 that stopped in 2023. We build the ask into your patient flow so it stops depending on someone remembering.

Will this work for a clinic our size?

Single-location clinics are the floor this is priced for. How many locations and how many treatments you want ranking. A single location with four treatments sits at the floor. If your treatment area is too thin to support the work, the free audit says so — we would rather lose the month than sell you a retainer that cannot pay for itself.

What about multiple locations?

Each location needs its own profile, its own page and its own review stream, and they must not cannibalise each other. That is scoped separately — the pricing here is for a single location.

Is this different from regular SEO?

Yes. Local ranking runs on proximity, prominence and profile completeness rather than pure content volume. Website work supports it, but the profile is the primary asset, so we treat it as one.

What does it cost, and what is not included?

$1,200 a month for a single location: profile management, review flow, local content, technical work and monthly reporting. No long lock-in — 30 days notice, any time. Not included: paid ads, and any spend on review-request SMS beyond the first 500 a month.

Does any of this touch patient data?

No. Everything we work on is public — your Google Business Profile, your website, your directory listings and your reviews. We never ask for a patient list, and review requests are sent by your own system to your own contacts. We are HIPAA-aware and build to documented practice; we are not lawyers, and your state may add rules on top.
